We get takeout from here often. It's great pizza prepared by a family that loves being at the restaurant. Always great vibes and hot fresh za when we come for pick up. Highly recommend.

Best pizza in Hamilton. Pizza made the way pizza should be made. This is the last of the true italian style pizzerias made famous in the 60s and 70s in Hamilton. Cooked till golden brown and crunchy, not to thick not to thin, very light, never raw, good sauce, it really is a perfect pizza. if anyone complains about this pizza they don't know pizza and should go to Pizza Pizza and eat their garbage.

I stopped in to Mattina Pizza because it was a block away from the hostel I was staying in and I needed food right away. The pizza was edible but far from great. Maybe if you're into super thin pizza you'll dig their pie, but when I picked up the box I wasn't sure there was anything in there. In addition to hardly any crust to support the toppings, they go really light on the meats too. The price was reasonable though, no complaint there. I'm not going to say the pizza was bad, but it certainly wasn't good either. I'd recommend looking for another place to get a pizza. I'm going to next time I'm in town.

Stopped in for a slice on my lunch. Left hungry a slightly disgusted. Pizza was fresh but gross, couldn't eat it all even thought I was quite hungry. Pizza was very dough heavy and cheese, sauce and topping light.

Pizza is ok. Absolutley *Awful* Wings though. Not only where they tiny, they were burnt and had very little edible meat. I know it's a "pizza" place but come on. Not much sauce on the pizza either and the crust was super crunchy and hard but not in a good way.
